Brickell Neighborhood Guide
Brickell sits at the southern edge of Downtown Miami, bordered by the Miami River to the north, Biscayne Bay to the east, and Coconut Grove to the south. Its high-rise skyline and relatively compact street grid make it one of the most urban and pedestrian-accessible neighborhoods in Miami-Dade County.
Miami's urban financial core
Brickell occupies a sliver of land between Biscayne Bay and I-95, running roughly from the Miami River south to SW 26th Road. Brickell Avenue is its primary spine, running parallel to the bay with cross streets descending toward the waterfront. The neighborhood sits within the City of Miami municipal boundaries.
