Edgewater Neighborhood Guide
Edgewater occupies a narrow band of Biscayne Bay shoreline between NE 17th Street to the south and NE 36th Street to the north, placing it between Downtown Miami and the Wynwood arts district. The neighborhood has undergone significant condominium development since the 2000s, with a concentration of residential towers oriented toward bay and city views.
Bayfront residential, between Downtown and Wynwood
Edgewater runs along the Biscayne Bay shoreline in the City of Miami, directly north of Downtown and Brickell and south of the Wynwood and Midtown areas. Biscayne Boulevard (US-1) defines its western edge; the bayfront is its eastern boundary. The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts sits on Biscayne Boulevard at the neighborhood's southern edge. Midtown Miami and the Design District border it to the north.
